Cisco is the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet,and now delivers new opportunities for rapid deployment of classic and New World voice applications by providing high-quality voice instruments that use IP transport technology included in the CP-7960. The CISCO CP-7960 allows the consolidation of data and voice into a single network infrastructure, including a single cable plant, a single switched Ethernet fabric for campus or branch offices, and unified systems for operations, administration, and management (OAM) for data and voice. The Cisco IP Phone 7960 (CP-7960) voice instrument is a second-generation full-featured IP phone primarily designed for executives and managers. The CISCO CP-7960 provides six programmable line/feature buttons and four interactive soft keys that guide a user through call features and functions. The CISCO CP-7960 also features a large pixel-based LCD display. The display provides features such as date and time, calling party name, calling party number, and digit dialed. The display on the CISCO CP-7960 also provides feature and line status, speaker (hands free) and headset features, and a mute button, which controls speaker or handset or headset microphones.
