A) These devices can act as independent autonomous access point as well as a lightweight, centrally managed access point.
B) They can be managed by the Cisco 5508 Wireless Controller.
C) This model that supports autonomous mode can act as a bridge as well allowing you to interconnect two or more wireless points. The traffic between the access points will be encrypted the same way as it is encrypted between the access point and the client, WEP, WPA, WPA2 and Cisco TKIP are supported.
D) Both WPA and WPA2 authentication are supported.
