All the ports on ASA5510-BUN-K9 are fast Ethernet capable. If you need gigabit port you may be interested in ASA5510-SEC-BUN-K9 or ASA5520-BUN-K9

Smartnet availability

Can this unit be placed under smartnet without costs beyond the smartnet?

The ability to place a pre-owned part under a Smartnet contract depends entirely on the status of the particular unit and whether or not it is already under contract from the previous owner.

Since we buy equipment from working environments the status always varies.
You would have to run the serial number of that particular unit to see if its eligible for Smartnet.
