The Cisco 1548M switch provides the most powerful and cost-effective Fast Ethernet solution in its class. Embedded Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and Remote Monitoring (RMON) capabilities provide management, monitoring, and analysis. A Web-based management interface common to most Cisco stackable LAN products allows network managers to manage a switch from anywhere on the Internet through a standard Web browser. The Cisco 1548M Micro Switch 10/100 also supports four port-based VLANs for enhanced performance, management, and security. And, because management functionality is embedded within the Cisco 1548M, there is no need to purchase additional management modules.
