The Cisco 7120-SMI3 VPN Router integrates key features of VPNs-tunneling, data encryption, security, firewall, advanced bandwidth management, and service level validation to provide secure, scalable VPN platforms to better and more cost-effectively accommodate remote-access, remote-office, and extra-net connectivity using public data services. It offers specific hardware configurations optimized for VPN environments or service provider WAN/VPN customer premise equipment (CPE) applications. It provides one ATM port that supports full-duplex operation at OC-3c/STM1 single-mode intermediate reach (155-Mbps) speeds.
