This is for a multimode fiber. For a single mode there is a X2-10GB-LR transceiver.

We stock both. It’s really the customers preference. That’s the case for all Gbic’s and transceivers. The 3rd party compatible ones come with a lifetime warranty, whereas the original’s would only carry our 2 year warranty.
